My absolutely stunning womb malas arrived and Amelia, has somehow supercharged these little beauties. I sat with them in my hands whilst talking a couple of ladies through meditation today and I felt them connecting into my lower back and the whole of my lady regions, almost like a gentle vibration not the sort you get from a jumping rabbit mind, a nice gentle fuzzy comfort,

I was going to be using my Lakshmi chant with them but decided to expand my knowledge and do a little more research to see if I could find a goddess more connected to the womb and this process and stage of a woman’s life.

I found Goddess Kamakhya, she is the ancient Indian goddess of desire, menstruation and the womb. Inside her sacred temple there s a protected spring that flows through a stone fissure shaped like a yoni (womb). She teaches us that the power of the divine feminine is not a physical object but is a wild eternal current of life force.

She is the powerhouse I’m going to work with through my hysterectomy as she helps in you processing the transition.

The sacral chakra is the energy centre that governs our reproductive organs and although the physical womb is removed the energy centre cannot be surgically removed as its part of our spirit. Maintaining and really connecting with that sacral chakra will act as a reminder that although our physical anchor has gone our spiritual powerhouse is still there and thriving with energy.

Then the scars that are left after the surgery, they can be seen as the sacred pathway of the journey that has just been undertaken, they begin to heal and allow new life force to flow into the area.

Then a new era emerges, the new version of being a woman, a woman that is stepping into her wise woman years. She is strong, she carries a wealth of knowledge, she trusts her intuition, she is the wise woman.

I am actually feeling excited about stepping into this new version of myself, it makes me feel bold, strong and no longer scared of being seen.

Amelia, (Because I know you read this) I am so grateful and in love with my and the cosmic energy I’m feeling from them, I am also grateful we are going through this together at similar times as I’m sure there will be days when we will be a support in some way or another.
